Halloween Choral Presentation

Halloween is the time to share many poems and chants that feature repetitive texts and vivid descriptions and sound effects that children love.

 

 
Cinderella Rap

The grade one children learned by memorization a substantial rhyming play that they performed in full drama for their parents and other classes in the school.

Christmas Musical and Drama

Children used oral language and reading as part of literacy to learn the words and appreciate the drama that was needed to perform with character and presence.

Reader's Theatre

Grade Ones are performing the Snow White play written by the student teacher, Mrs. Anna Cislik. Parents came in full throng to watch and support their children!

Technology Integration

Viewing movies created by the children.

The grade ones worked in small groups to learn the gingerbread play. Each group presented to other classes and to their parents. Notice the wonderful scenery and backdrops.
